HISTORY
The lyrics made me touched and could invite tears. Especially if this song
has a meaning of motivation to live so we stay and the spirit of life. The
message of this song: Despite the poor quality of life and the challenges to
living in such slums, people managed to thrive and move forward in their own
way, and built a happy family. The video clip of this song has been very explaining the meaning of this song. The point is we have to struggle to live life no matter what the circumstances. Do not ever show your distress with others. Turn pain into strength!
BACKGROUND
The
song I chose is called Superheroes and is composed by Danny O’Donoghue and Mark Sheenan of the Irish
band The Script, together with songwriter James Barry. The band consists of
lead vocalist/pianist Danny O’Donoghue, vocalist/guitarist Mark Sheenan and
drummer Glen Power. Their albums are called The Script (2008). Superheroes is in the last album, No Sound Without Silence, and is the lead single of this album. The
music style of The Script is pop rock.
